The New (Wolf Moon): Making the dream real. The Essence of Walking on Water. (1/11-1/25/24)

The new moon graces us Thursday morning, January 11, 2024, at 6:57 AM EST. This energy will build in intensity all the way up to the full moon. New moons are for setting intentions and striving towards alignment and harmony with the celestial influences that we are all experiencing. No longer fighting what you cannot control and receiving the world around you, as it is–and working with it. In conjunction with its energies we ride the wave and take from it all the gifts it has to offer, some comfortable and some not; because by the time the moon is fullest, the intensity will have multiplied thirty fold. 

Think of it like getting the hang of it now vs. later (full moon) when the wave is at its peak and it is much more difficult to get on your feet and surf it; thus you let the wave break on your back–waiting patiently for a new wave to form (next new moon.) 

Purely a channel:

I don’t dare consider myself an astrologer (yet), however I am here to share my downloads and impressions as a psychic medium. These downloads are where I am most potent at assisting humanity and this offering is shared to assist you in riding this wave with STYLE in a way only you could.

Walking on water:

Most often attempting to walk on water leaves one wet and submerged. Maintaining our spiritual knowledge (faith) and being rooted and abundantly present in this life is learned and is often earned after years of confusion and misalignment. 

The Temperance card in the tarot is a beautiful symbol of this. She is planted on both, making her a bridge–but rather than the bridges we are used to; being planted both sides on land, she shows us what it means to live and express divinity while remaining planted firmly on the ground (here on earth.) 

I’m sure we all know some examples of people who are straight up mermaids, and not in the fun, mystical kind. They are pure water and spirit and are not very good at grounding the things they teach into reality. I spent a good portion of my awakening in this space myself and am still learning.

You could also relate this to being in the clouds. We also know people who put so much stock into the physical that they are living with the spiritual version of rabies; rejecting water (spirit) and remaining hypnotized by the material. They are like backwards conquerors.

The wolf moon is inviting us to get into a rhythm with it so we can begin to finally solidify our foot on both. To stand on the water (faith and spirit) and not sink or drown; is the essence of walking on water and it is what is needed to reach our fullest potential in this life. Parting the sea is another example of this metaphor.

The Archangel of Temperance: The Archangel of Incarnational Wisdom. 

She is in full bloom and calls to us at this time. Capricorn sings out as well and together they harmonize a tune that can be alarming and triggering altogether. Their call cuts through the air and is painfully loud about the factors of reality that cannot remain and what is needed to weather life on earth in a physical vessel NOW, ushering us into the arms of our most-high creator mother.

She embraces us and teaches us with patience how to thrive and meet our potential in these potent times. The Archangel of Temperance and Capricorn are like our mature siblings sent from home to usher us back home (alignment). 

This is the mother that gifts us with the knowledge and science that would become boats and planes; vehicles made of human co-creation with the divine. She serves us in taking stock of what is in front of us and putting it together in ways only humans could. This is what sets humans apart from other organic organisms on this earth.

As young celestial beings in celestial bodies; we are here to serve as stewards of the earth and co-create alongside the most-high to assist the earth in its organic evolution but evolving alongside it. This is the essence of Gods will working through man. 

 Everything I have just said is answering the “why?” in relation to how this energy is challenging and edifying us for the world we are in and its shifts and changes.

Misconceptions of Worthiness and Purity:

Having one foot planted on the ground means that we face the footprints that have led us to this place and time. The places you’ve been and the roles you have played are all being reflected back to us in this moon cycle. The unconscious parts of us that have weathered life on this earth and have come up with beliefs and programs to survive.

Capricorn is the one holding the mirror. The demonized parts of us are the parts of the home that are due for renovation. “One must be pure and good altogether. Blemish free.” This is a collective program that puts us at odds with ourselves.

The notion that we are not allowed to express in low vibrational ways, that our past makes us ineligible for the blessings that the universe teases. Like a carrot inspiring us towards something that SEEMS* unattainable–doubting that we are deserving of it. 

This is a major theme of this moon cycle and questioning your candidacy is NORMAL. 

Utilize this to face yourself and take stock of where your weak points are and where you can improve. Constructive criticism generated by the self is a worthwhile muscle to define and we can do so without tossing the baby out with the bathwater.

Capricorn is magnifying the impurities purely with the intention of edifying us and making us available for the TANGIBLE blessings and opportunities that will spring forward later this year.  More on this edification later.

Bad taste in our mouths: Financial Systems and Governments

 On the macro scale, how do we ground and seed nirvana here on earth again, in a tangible way?

The imperfections of our world systems will be blaring and unpleasant during this moon cycle as well. Earth has evolved to become a more centralized ecosystem and we are more tuned in to the happenings around the world than we ever have been. This comes with a hyper awareness of the failures of our system and its senseless greed based nature.

There will be initiatives and impulses to abandon it all. Complete anarchy. Abandon our financial systems and governments and start with a clean slate. This in itself feels impossible because it is...

Thus the mounting hopelessness for our future is enough to demotivate us and fall back on our desire for comfort. 

There's no going back. Capricorn shows us this. Financial systems and governmental bodies are the only way forward and people have been divinely positioned to transform these industries from the inside out; for the people, by the people. You might be one of them, or have a small part to play in that system.

The earlier years of human kind's adolescence and the introduction of financial systems were like giving a child shoes that are ill fitting and far too large for their feet.

They would eventually fit and flatter them when they are fully grown.

We have yet to hit our stride in these ways but Capricorn ushers us forward and not backwards. We cannot simply crinkle up the paper and start anew, we must work from within the systems we have built. But being painfully aware of the misalignment of our communal systems is enough to make us feel overwhelmed. This is where faith comes in and a redirection to the things we have the power to change now.

Capricorns Gifts (Initiation and Edification):

Edification: The term "edification" generally refers to the process of intellectual, moral, or spiritual improvement and enlightenment. It involves the act of instructing, uplifting, or building up someone's knowledge, character, or understanding, often with the goal of promoting personal or collective development. Edification can take place through various means, such as education, guidance, or the imparting of positive influences to foster personal growth and improvement.

Initiation: Initiation is often associated with rituals or ceremonies that mark the entrance into a new stage or status, especially in cultural, religious, or organizational contexts. For example, initiation ceremonies might signify the transition from adolescence to adulthood in certain societies.

Capricorn is putting us through our paces once again to prepare us to meet our potential here on earth. It's lovely to be a receiver of divine wisdom and information but is your human able to absorb it and do something with it? This is where Capricorn comes in. Capricorn offers lessons that if taken like a champ; afford us the momentum needed to take off. The discomfort felt is simply the imperfect and bumpy nature of picking up speed before flight.  You can let it slow you down to a stop or you can use it to take flight.

Capricorns teaches efficiency:

Capricorn will leave no stone left unturned, and like I said; every painful memory and all factors that make us feel unworthy are right in our faces. Why? Because all will be used for flight. It all serves. Resisting it or letting it rule you and letting it be the permission to count yourself out is the path we are used to as humans. Efficiently using it ALL and assuming it all serves is a path that would lead to uncharted territory and exactly where we dream of being–individually and altogether. Ultimately–Capricorn is stabilized in her routine, so this will all lead to awareness around grounding and stabilizing routines that will be the chariot that pulls in the reality beyond the one we are living.

Sexuality and Human Need:

Capricorn also lights the fire in our loins. AKA being hot and horny comes with this cycle, yet the ways we have scratched this itch in the past will not do it this time. Making peace with our needs and meeting them in a way that serves the newly evolved you; this is an opportunity uniquely offered by the wolf moon. Its ok to admit that you have newly realized and found needs, or to admit that what you previously agreed too isn't cutting it.

How much confirmation do you need?

Capricorn has grown tired of bringing real life confirmation to us and is showing us, time and time again, the nature of our constant need for validation. Like the lovable but annoying child that wants to impress you but does nothing worth praise. “Look Mom/Dad!”

They perform something incredibly ordinary and demand your praise and recognition. Capricorn is not about this. If you are reading this and have gotten this far in this post you do not need validations from the universe and the world around you; you already know what you know. The validation comes later. Now is a time for adjustment and alignment.

The Bull and the Red Cloth: Taunting the Hungry Ghost

The hungry ghost is a term I use to describe the voids we fail to fill. Consumerism, addiction, binging, etc. Capricorn is inflaming these ghosts to show us where our weaknesses lie. Think of those that win the lottery only to spend it faster than anyone thought possible. The same is true with our gifts, our missions, and paths. These are resources that can leak out of us.

We can easily begin to erode them by not maintaining a healthy relationship with desire. Think of the Strength card in the tarot. Awareness of our hungry ghost and taming it in Capricorn season when it is most rabid will ensure the edification that will make it so we are efficient with our resources.

Capricorn unapologetically loves to live in luxury but luxuries that are not earned are simply cheap thrills–rather expensive ones. The desire for a certain lifestyle can fuel and motivate us to manifest lives that match our desires healthily.

Children of the Most-High God grow up too fast:

Those that even make efforts towards becoming their best selves in co-creation with the divine are constantly growing and changing. The analogy offered is one of being a parent to young ones, knowing that you are constantly having to meet the needs of their growing bodies and meeting the demand of their garments only to have them grow into them and the constant growth they experience. We are like that.

Capricorn is highlighting this as well and making it obvious where certain roles we play, relationships, and arrangements simply don’t fit us. Embrace this. Fighting it is fruitless. You may have entered a romantic relationship last month to find that this month, it is obvious that it is no longer a match. You may have had an idea of what your professional life would evolve into, only to pivot and go a completely different direction. This is the essence of growth. This time is like living many lives in one.

Get used to it.

New Moon Ritual:

This is an exercise and a way for you to interface with the Wolf Moon, a formal invitation from you that initiates you into the process of cocreation with the present energies. 

Items needed: 

• White Glass Pillar Candles 

• Loose Sheets of Paper (3)

• Temperance card or a print out of the temperance card. 

1. Grab three loose sheets of Paper; On the top of one title it; “Water/Spirit/the vision”, On the other title it; “Earth/physical/What is”, and on the third title it; “Adjustments/The Bridge”

1. Start with “Water/Spirit/The Vision”: Free write or use this sheet to exercise automatic writing about whatever comes to mind when you think of your present life in the perspective of all of the spiritual conformations and validations you’ve received, all that you know to be true but has not been made physical just yet. Start every sentence or phrase with “I am…”, or “I will…” Ex: I am here to use my gifts to serve humanity, I am here to experience the contrast of the poverty and struggle my ancestors experienced, I will plant seeds of ancestral abundance for those who come after me.

1. When you are done with your “Water/Spirit/The Vision” page, move on to “Earth/What is”. This is your opportunity to be painfully honest with yourself about what is. This is also done with the automatic writing approach, just write without thinking but having the prompt in mind. The prompt is to write out what is without trying to change it. Start every sentence or phrase with; “I experience.” This is an opportunity to put it all down on paper. The vision (The north star) is not the same as your present location. These are different coordinates. You cannot traverse to your desired destination until you know where you are. This is the wisdom Capricorn, The Archangel of Temperance, and the Wolf; are eager to seed in you. These might be things that conflict with the first page prompts and are sometimes even the opposite of what we know in faith.

2. Don’t expect to change this all in one moon cycle, however go back to the sheet you just completed and underline one to three things that you feel ready to tackle and focus on leading up to the full moon. Some things will feel like they will take time to work through, focus on the things that feel attainable. Some things will also feel like they are out of your control, again focus on the smaller things. This is about building confidence when it comes to co-creating the life of our dreams. Ex:  I experience bullying by my children, I experience finding comfort in foods and distractions. I experience procrastination when it comes to maintaining my home (Dishes, laundry, meal prep, etc.)

3. On the third sheet titled “Adjustments/The Bridge”; Draft a declaration to the Archangel of Temperance, or to a higher power if that is more comforting to you, stating your intention to properly bridge the knowing in faith, with what is. Make known the dedication you are willing to invest in order to see these changes through so you can live in the world as you were designed to be, rather than a product of trauma or programming. Write how you WILL be making adjustments and taking your power back to bring further alignment between your faith (The vision of your best self.) and what is. At the end offer your thanks and ask for assistance and strength in this endeavor. 

4. If you have an altar or a SAFE and clear flat surface, fold up the page titled; “Water/Spirit/the vision”, and place it under a glass of clear water. On the altar or clear space place these things on your left.
   

5. Place the folded page titled, “Earth.” Under a crystal or even a simple rock or under a small house plant. This should be on your right. 
   

6. Place the UNFOLDED page titled “Adjustments” under a white glass pillar candle. Place this dead in the center of both the right (Earth) and left (Water).

7. Place the Temperance Tarot Card/Printout Directly in front of all three. 

Read aloud your adjustment page every morning and place it back underneath the white candle. The candle will go out in about 3 to 5 days. Replace it if you can and read aloud the declaration on the page before you light it. Stay grounded to the things you have vowed to change. Only take on what you can handle, even if it is just one, and don’t spiral in shame if you fall off.

This will help you. Capricorn season can set us up for some amazing things, but it will be an uphill climb. It will pay off in spades. Think of pulling a crank or a chain to start an engine, it's a small action but it starts the engine that will afford the momentum to bring you forward.

Taking action on these small things may feel like it's getting nowhere but see it as a test from Capricorn to see if we are willing to step away from known comforts and challenge ourselves to make real change. If we pass we will be blessed when the full moon is in full swing. Taking action vs falling into known comforts. These are the paths afforded this Moon cycle.

“Heavenly most-high God. Thank you for all that you have made possible through my life, and living here at this time. Thank you for all the challenges that are uniquely designed to invite the best parts of your creation forth; through me. Thank you for showing me the value of my mistakes and faults. Thank you for the struggles that temper me. If it is your will; I humbly ask that you supply me with the support needed to change. Work your will for change and transformation through me, so that I may manifest entry into your garden of abundance and leave behind the wasteland of confusion and lack. Show me my power, and the power I have to change. Archangel of Temperance, grant me your patience and the support and guidance you have to share, so I may seed and nurture my divine authentic expression in this life and live as the expression of perfection, eager to be free. Alive, present, and vibrant. Show me the way in my everyday life and help me hold the steady progression needed to create the life of my highest potential. Show me all the ways I can bridge my life as experienced to the life as dreamed. Equip me with the compass and edify me with the resolution of my direction so that I may traverse in said direction with confidence and confirmation. Thank you once more for all that you have made possible for me and all others by way of tangible change. May our efforts combined create a world that is an expression of the perfection of Gods creation, and may we in-turn create ourselves to be perfect vehicles of this creation. Amen.
